Whynatte is extending its latte claw into the far reaches of the globe, lending its unique silky touch to Melbourne, Australia.
Writes Boogie, “This is boogie I am down in St.Kilda Victoria Australia, it is part of
Melbourne. These are some pictures of Whynatte action that went down last
night. The bar did not have milk so we used Bailey’s. It was fantastic.
It even inspired us to make a new drink called an Absintea. Absinthe is
legal in Australia so you guessed it you drop a shot of absinthe into tea.
It was no Whynatte but it was pretty good.”
Boogie apparently left out the part where they all left the bar, hitched a ride with a man sheperding a herd of unicorn, and spent the rest of the night dancing in a forest of lollipops.
So here’s what we know Boogie got into that night:
1) Jager
2) Tea
3) Coffee
4) Bailey’s
5) Absinthe
It goes without saying that Boogie woke up feeling like his head had been split open like a ripened coconut.
So weird. Andy has the exact same mirror in his bathroom.

:wink:I’ve recently been to the pretty dulcie whilst on travels to St Kilda, Melbourne, Australia. I think its the angle the photo was taken, while the bartender is quite small, and the bar too for that matter is quite tall she would have to be the hottest barmaid ive seen in a mightly long while. Check the bar out for yourself…and the bar maid

First off, I find it pleasantly random that you have actually been to Pretty Dulcie’s AND to the Whynatte website. While I’m sure that many people have been to Pretty Dulcie’s, and while I’m certain that many people have been to the Whynatte website, I’m not sure that many people can say that they’ve been to both.
Second off, you’re probably right about the angle that the photo was taken. With that said, it is obvious that the photographer was attached to a swing like device that was suspended from the rafters.

i personally like the fact that their seems 2 be no other “characters” in the bar at the time of the pre-approved-pseudo-photo-shoot….
but then again: i have been at bars in the afternoon when there was only like one other pathetic dude there with me; so i guess i’m the one with the problem…

Hi,
No idea what this website is about and quite frankly, not bothered.
I lived and worked and drank in Pretty Dulcie when it first opened. Legendary place. Little barmiad Amara is a Legend, as is Jess, Sam, Kate, Steve, marnie and all the other lot.

Prettu dulcies right name was mary, she died in 1976 in a house fire in bondi , nsw.She was born in Newtown nsw.She had a long criminal record was a blonde and nicknamed the angel of death, because all her men died.

Dulcie looked like ginger rogers, she was a known prostitute that lived in victoria(st kilda) sydney, perth, etc.Had she been alive to day she would of been 96!
